Academic dress looks simple from the audience, but it is a set of three things that all have to match: the gown for your degree level, the trencher, and a hood lined in your faculty’s colour. Get one of them wrong and it is the first thing you notice in the photos.
If you are hiring props or booking photos as well, tell us at the same time. We hold the gown, the teddy bear, the scroll and the session under the one booking so nothing gets missed on the day.
The good news is that we only need four things from you to get it right — your university, your degree, your graduation date and your height. Everything else is our job.
